About Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena
At Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena, we strive to provide you with a quality education and to prepare you fully for an exciting career. Opening the doors to our beauty and makeup school in 2004, our 6,000 square-foot facility serves students far and wide - coming from West Covina, Covina, Pomona, Montebello, El Monte, Rancho Cucamonga, South Pasadena, Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, and a number of other nearby areas. We believe in high standards and value-added education, which is reflected in the programs offered at our beauty and makeup school, as well as the state-of-the-art surroundings, equipment, and products provided.
We employ the teachings of Paul Mitchell Schools, and all courses uphold industry-leading teachings, bringing an amazing educational experience to you and your peers - our Future Professionals. Supported by our highly qualified and experienced Learning Leaders, the curriculum offered at our beauty and makeup school is conducive to fun and creative learning. Through our worldwide network of Paul Mitchell beauty schools and salons, we aim to involve you in activities outside the classroom, such as hair shows, photo shoots, and competitions, which will strengthen your portfolio and enable you to form connections for future career growth.
Serving as a confirmation of the high-quality education we provide, and boosting the credibility of our school and team, the students and staff at Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena have been honored to receive a number of area- and industry-related awards and nominations:
- Merchandising Contests
- Take Home Contests
- North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) nominations
- BEACON nominations
- 2012 Top Photo Stylist Contest nomination
- Various recognition awards from local high schools
Furthermore, we have earned quite a bit of local news coverage for the events and achievements of our beauty and makeup school, including a showcase of Free Hugs Day efforts; a story of our dean, Alee Cao (via American Salon’s Master section); a feature on creative photoworks via Launch Pads, American Salon, and Canadian Hairdresser; a piece on a student sponsorship program (via American Salon); and various portrayals of Design Team events (Fashion Weeks, World of Dance, Locks of Love, Grammy Salute to Fashion) both online and in print. This coverage, much like the awards and recognition noted above, helps to reinforce the difference that our beauty and makeup school makes for students, staff, and the community.
